1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client”) and The Life Laundress (the “Company”).


2. Services Provided

We offer decluttering and styling services within a 10 mile radius of IP17 3EP.

The scope of services will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Additional tasks must be requested in advance and may incur extra charges.


3. Booking and Scheduling

All appointments must be booked in advance via phone, email, or online.

A minimum booking of 2 hours per visit applies.

We aim to arrive on time, but delays due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances may occur.


4. Access to Property

The Client is responsible for providing access to the property on the scheduled date/time.

If access is not granted and the cleaner is unable to carry out the service, a missed visit fee of £45 may apply.

If keys are provided, they must open all necessary locks.


5. Pricing and Payment

Our standard rate is £45 per hour (inclusive of VAT).

A deposit of 50% of the payment is due at the time of booking.

The balance is due upon completion via bank transfer.

Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a late payment charge of £25


6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less notice may incur a fee of half of the full service charge.

We reserve the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund or reschedule will be offered.


7. Satisfaction and Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of the appointment.


8. Client Responsibilities

The property must be safe, hygienic and free from hazards.

Valuables, cash, and fragile items should be stored securely. We are not responsible for loss or damage to unattended valuables.


9. Liability and Insurance

We hold public liability insurance covering damage or injury caused by our us.

We are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage

Wear and tear

Damage to fragile or unsecured items

Claims must be made in writing within 48 hours of the service.

We hold a DBS certificate but are not responsible for any childcare.


10. Health and Safety

Our staff will not move heavy furniture or use ladders unless previously agreed.

We reserve the right to refuse service if the property poses a health or safety risk.


11. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 7 days written notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services due to non-payment, abusive behaviour, or breach of these terms.


12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified via email or our website.


13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


14. Privacy

We process client data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law.
